Nolvadex.
Nolvadex (tamoxifen) is a medicine intended for the treatment of breast cancer. The effects of this drug are based on blocking the activity of estrogen in the breast, therefore stopping the growth of tumors. Make sure to take Nolvadex exactly as prescribed – one or two times a day with a full glass of water. The directions provided by your doctor may be slightly different from those on the label. You will need to follow those provided by your doctor, as they are based on the assessment of your condition and tailored to your individual needs. Make sure you tell your health care provider about any other prescription or over-the-counter medications you are going to take or are taking at the moment. The following ones will need to be reported if you are planning to take them: HIV or AIDS medicines, antidepressants, pioglitazone, nicardipine, bromocriptine, heart rhythm medications, cimetidine, isoniazid, aminoglutethimide, rifampin, blood thinners, anti-malaria medications, antibiotics, and letrozole. Your dose may be adjusted based on that information to make sure you do not suffer from the consequences of drug interactions that could be avoided.
